How do I connect a Bluetooth speaker?
On iPhone, tap the speaker icon in the top-right corner to pick your audio output. On Apple Watch, tap "Connect Speaker" in the settings section before starting a countdown.
Can I use the Watch without my iPhone?
Yes. The Watch app works standalone with haptics and visual countdown. For audio through a speaker, pair a Bluetooth speaker directly to your Watch, or toggle "iPhone Speaker" to use your phone as the sound system.
What does the Timer setting do?
Timer adds a lead-in before the crowd countdown starts. Set it to "—" for an instant countdown, or 15/30 seconds for a shot-clock feel with ambient crowd noise building up to the count.
The audio cuts off early or the buzzer doesn't play.
Make sure the audio file hasn't been accidentally removed from the app bundle. If you're on Apple Watch Series 9 or earlier, the built-in speaker doesn't support media playback — use a Bluetooth speaker or the iPhone remote mode instead.
